Syncing your progress with AniList & SIMKL

AniList is Zenbu's primary tracker and library account. Once you're logged in with AniList, watching an episode updates your progress on that title's AniList entry automatically — the same list you'd see on anilist.co.

Progress updates only change your episode count. They will not silently move a title between AniList statuses. Finishing the final episode of a show already marked Watching still moves it to Completed automatically.

Your List page mirrors your AniList list directly, so status changes, scores, and progress made on Zenbu show up on AniList and vice versa — there's no separate Zenbu-only list to keep in sync.

SIMKL universal scrobbler

You can also connect your SIMKL account in Settings (Tracking). SIMKL operates as a dedicated scrobbler: as you complete episodes on Zenbu, your watch events and history are automatically scrobbled to SIMKL. You can also use the 'Mirror Library' button in Settings to sync your existing AniList progress straight to SIMKL.
